1970 Lemania Royal Air Force Single Button Two Register Chronograph


LEMANIA: Rare original Lemania British military issue jewel lever single button chronograph, circa 1970. Large assymetric brushed stainless steel case with stepped polished bezel, fixed strap bars, white metal winding crown and single round chronograph pusher at 2, and brushed case-sides, in good used condition with light surface marks and dinks. Screw case back with original military issue marks: 6BB/924-3306 171/70 M and the Admiralty arrow. Original matt black dial with printed white minute calibrations with luminous five minute markers, bold arabic numeral hour markers, 30 minute counter at 3 o'clock, and running seconds at 9 o'clock. Signed Lemania with a T in a circle, Incabloc, and with the Admiralty broad "fat" arrow. White painted syringe hands and white painted chronograph hands. Nickel plated Lemania cal. 2220 seventeen jewel lever chronograph mechanism (no. 1975939), recently serviced by a respected ex-military watchmaker, and in very good working order. World War II Cyma "Dirty Dozen" Wrist Watch Waterproof


CYMA: Stainless steel Cyma Wrist Watch Waterproof manual wind British Military issue strap watch, circa 1940's. Large (38 x 45mms excluding crown) stainless steel case with stepped polished bezel, low dome acrylic plexi-crystal, substantial shoulders with fixed strap bars, brushed steel winding crown, and brushed case-sides, in very good used condition. Stainless steel screw case back with military issue markings: WWW P20998 25998, and the Admiralty "broad arrow". The issue numbers are repeated inside the caseback. Original matt black dial with printed white minute railway track with white arabic numerals and luminous five minute marks (some aging), and subsidiary seconds dial, signed Cyma (with Admiralty arrow), and Swiss Made. Original steel baton hands. Very fine nickel plated Cyma fifteen jewel lever manual wind movement (no. 389700) with Geneva stripe decoration and with the jewels set in gold chatons, with protective cuvette, recently serviced by an independant specialist watchmaker and in very good working order. Fitted with a Hirsch black leather strap with white metal buckle. Box: supplied in our presentation case. 1944 Omega "Dirty Dozen" Wrist Watch Waterproof


OMEGA: Stainless steel World War II "Dirty Dozen" British military issue jewel lever strap watch, circa 1944. Large circular stainless steel case with brushed case front, down-turned shoulders, fixed strap-bars, brushed case-sides, and Omega winding crown, in good refurbished condition. Stainless steel screw case back (some surface marks) with military issue numbers: W.W.W. Y7623 10671822 and the Admiralty "broad" arrow, Omega signatures and case no. 10671822 inside. Professionally restored matt black dial with bold white arabic numerals, outer minute track with luminous five minute divisions, and white subsidiary seconds track, signed Omega with the the Admiralty arrow and Swiss Made. Polished steel luminous dagger hands. Nickel plated Omega cal. 30T2 fifteen jewel lever manual wind mechanism (no.10223541), with "crown" retaining ring, recently serviced and in good working order. 1943 Longines Royal Air Force Issue Centre Seconds Watch


LONGINES: Rare Longines RAF Issue jewel lever centre seconds pilot's watch, circa 1943. Circular white metal three piece case with polished concave bezel, domed plexi-crystal, plain down-turned shoulders, fixed strap bars, brushed case-sides, and white metal winding crown, in good used condition. Domed snap-on case back with engraved military issue markings: A.M 6B/159 A6122. Silver-white dial with printed Arabic numeral hour markers, outer minute track, and blued steel hands and centre seconds hand. Very fine frosted gilt Longines calibre 12.68N manual wind 16 jewel lever mechanism (no. 6634149), recently serviced and in very good working order. Fitted to a period Gay Freres bonklip style bamboo bracelet in good used condition. Box: supplied in our presentation case. This is a very nice example of a Second Wolrd War Air Ministry pilot's watch which will appeal to the collector and WWII re-enactor!
